Mariella Aprosio has been in the flower business all her life. In fact, she grew up with it. Her parents and grandparents were all orchids flower growers, and from them she learned the love and respect of nature. At a very young age, she began to explore the art of floral decoration. She studied all over Europe with the best in the field. She naturally draws inspiration from extensive traveling to pristine locations and remains fascinated by the force of nature and the wits of man through which she invents a multitude of new ways to work with flowers. Thanks to her novel and unique designs Mariella was soon in charge of floral decoration at luxury hotels on the French Riviera, and became an expert in creating one-of-a-kind decors for the villas of these establishments exclusive clientele. Today, following her brother Roberto eagerly joining her team as project manager in 2005, Mariella uses her wide-ranging experience mixed with her botanical know-how and talent to conceive elegant and harmonious floral environments for parties, weddings, birthday celebrations, galas, corporate events, inaugurations, fashion shows, private villas, castles, exposition halls, art galleries, museums and gardens – events on yachts – across Europe and particularly in southern France and Italy. Mariella and Roberto have been joined in their efforts by a group of floral designers of different nationalities. Using particular vases, candles, accessories and a variety of other specially fabricated supports and structures, they assist them in creating sophisticated and very spontaneous – classical or contemporary – floral arrangements and magical decors they have become renowned for. Also, they enjoy teaming up with European set designers, architects, interior designers, fashion magazine stylists and photographers. In addition, Mariella had the opportunity to arrange a Christmas concert in Vatican City. She and her team tend to every detail – up to the very last second – to ensure that clients and their guests experience a glorious sensation which only perfectly arranged flowers can produce. Mariella was raised to knighthood by the Sovereign of State for professional merit in 2006
